We ordered 12 for our school and all came with dried up laser cartridges. Xerox was fantastic about replacement and soon had them all working. The cartridges are expensive and don't do well with generic cartridges. My preference for the future will be back to HP's - they are workhorses

I bought this printer to replace my large format printer for every day printing. I had a paper handling problem when I first set it up, but Xerox sent me a replacement part and it has run perfectly since then. It is a little slow, but still quick enough to meet my needs. An inexpensive addition and continues to save me money in operating costs.
I would recommend this to others.

It was easy to set up the printer, the print quality and color accuracy are very good. It's a breeze to use and I particularly like that it is pretty quiet.

I,ve had this printer almost a year and just love the quality of the prints. I use this color printer for making color maps of my fields. Very fast and makes clear copies. Would recommend this printer for ease of use.

For a desktop model I really appreciate that it does not take up a lot of space. We use it for various types of documents. We use 8.5x11 as well as 8.5x14 sizes and it prints both with no problem. Changing the toner cartidges is very easy as well. It is also very reliable.
I would recommend this to others.

As a graphic designer, I must have quality prints, this printer has that, plus ease of use. I have used many printers, this is by far the best quality, especially at the price. I have had no problems, its easy to set up and utilize the many features. I would buy it again.

I print about 200 menus a day for a restaurant, and the inkjet printer I was using just couldn't keep pace. And the ink smudged when wet.
The Phaser 6140 was very affordable to begin with and is comparatively inexpensive to operate. The print quality on several different types of paper is very crisp. Graphic designs and high resolution graphics look very nice. Photograph are acceptable. And the ink doesn't smudge.
The customer service and technical support are way beyond excellent. The problem I did have that couldn't be resolved over the phone was promptly handled by a technician that came right to my office.
I would highly recommend this printer, and the customer service behind it.
I would recommend this to others.

My Printer replaced a HP 3600 Color Laser. In my opinion, the Phaser 6140 is faster, quieter, and the colors are more vibrant. The size of both printers are almost the same, but the style of the Xerox presents itself as the classier of the two.
I would recommend this to others.

This printer arrived quickly and was very easy to set up. It is much lighter weight than my 5-yr old CMYK postscript printer, and way faster and quieter.
I do print production work on books and magazines and newspapers, complicated color-heavy documents. I only print out proofs for folks, the proofs are very close to the press output of the files I provide using a standard press color space. The CMYK matches the process book well on good paper.
I am quite satisfied with this printer.
This machine is networked via ethernet to my MacPro, they recognized each other immediately.

This Color Laser is a workhorse. It doesn't have fancy bells and whistles, but what it does have is incredible consistent quality and functionality. This is the only Xerox printer in our office and we have replaced 4 HP printers in the last two years, and haven't had to do anything other than change the toner cartridges in the unit. Absolutely great purchase for a small business like ours.

I have purchased 3 printer from Xerox in the past 2 years for the University of Alaska. They have all been wonderful. They are fast, excellent print quality and many extra feature for a great price. We previously used a different brand and had many problem, not with Xerox. I have had excellent customer service from Greg Breslan and any time I need supplies all it takes is an email and I have the stuff in a few days. We never have to pay extra for UPS. I would never purchase any other printer but Xerox for my home or office. Xerox you rock.

I am pleased with my printer purchase. It was a good price and fits my needs so far. the only complaint that I have hooked up the printer via ethernet and it prints very slow.
