I never understood how to correctly use my Phaser 8860DN until very recently.
Once I learned that it uses less soliid inks when you let it go into power saver mode 24/7 and do not turn it on and off every day, I now find either very little or no waste in the waste tray.
Mr. Carlson and Mr. Wilson started something really good for everyone decades ago.
I would recommend this to others.

Have used this printer for Graphic intensive printing for 3 years and have been very satisfied. The speed and ease of use have been fantastic. It does have a tendency to plug jets and we get some light stripes (not bad but noticeable). We have to run the cleaning process every so often (every 3-4 months) to eliminate light stripes and it doesn't always get them out, but they disappear after a while. Overall have been very happy with the printer.
I would recommend this to others.

I have a mix of Xerox and HP printers and in the past year or 2 I have been moving from HP to Xerox they are better quality on construction there colors are truer to life and the cost per page is half as much.
I would recommend this to others.

The Xerox Phaser 8860 is unparalleled in output quality, speed and ease-of-use. I have used other brands that shall deservedly remain nameless. The cost of supplies, ease of solid ink, etc. are remarkable.

This printer is environmentally friendly, and well built. It works very well at what it is designed to do. It is not very fast printing, and quality not as good as laser, but for how it was desigedn and for iots intedned purpose: overall a very good printer.
I would recommend this to others.

i have 4 printers and i have problems from the first 6 months to 12 months the printers have the same error and go to the trash

I will never buy a thing from Xerox ever again - 1 year and20 days after purchasing this printer, it broke, and will cost $900 to fix it. The print head broke.

I recently started up a small digital printing business out of my home and currently own two 8860's. I love the ease of use, especially the maintenance. I really ask a lot of these printers at times and they keep going on and on. I bought the 8860's for that reason because of the higher print volume capacity per month. The only problem that I had was when I decided to run non-Xerox ink for a short time. Big mistake! It only clogged up the printheads and caused me a lot of grief. So be sure to use genuine Xerox ink with this printer. Besides, the Xerox ink produced more vibrant colors. I look forward to adding several more 8860's as my business volume increases. Thanks Xerox!

Trading our previous toner required color printer to a Xerox Phaser 8860 was the best decision we have made. We were a little skeptical at first - what no toners? no belts? no fuser? Yes, the system is so simple to use - the only additional component is the color sticks - with no cleanup!! We have yet to need a call for a jamming or repair. We have jumped over to tonerless printing for good!
I would recommend this to others.

We print out brochures for our company with this printer in large quantities. It does a great job. Print quality and colors are great. It resides on our network and handles job requests through the network well. We have bought another one for our other office and would recommend it to others.

I must say xerox is one of the most innovative company in the world when it comes to printers.
It always tries to satisfy the need of the consumers and hence it acheive it constantly.

Having previously owned several 8850's and loving those, there was no doubt we'd get the new 8860. Much like the previous version, it's a great machine. The solid ink is awesome, no more trips to the 'print shop' for our color documents, everything is done in house and looks pretty professional ! Perfect for our mid size office, it takes care of everyone's printing needs in a flash. For small to mid size businesses who want a reliable machine, and be able to afford color printing , the 8860 is a must have !

I've owned several printers over the years, some ink jet & some laser. The Phaser 8860 produces the best quality at the fastest speed. The solid ink lasts so much longer than all other products out there.

I have been very happy with this printer. The print quality has been great, the web interface is easy to use and maintenance is minimal.
We have roled out the MFP and the standard DN models in our work area and they are great. Initial cost is high but the benefit from a lower maintenace cost makes up the difference easily.
Another nice benefit is not having to allocate a dedicated room to all the toner cartridges needed to be stored onhand. We use to take up half of our storage room maintaining a 3 month supply of toner cartridges for all of our printers. We still have normal laserjets so we have cartridges still but now it takes up 1 wall instead of half the room. All the solid ink and maintenance kits for these printers fits nicely into 2 shelves of a storage cabinet with space to spare.
If you need a work horse printer that you intend to keep around for awhile I would recommend this model in a heartbeat.

i could not find a printer to meet my needs of printing quality color prints without the expense of the expensive toner cartridges and high electric bills that were associated with good printers.
i tried everything from traditional xerox printers to ink jet printers from other makers, I really feel like i have the right printing solution for my home.
the print quality isnt "photo" quality, but it does everything else really well
