This machine is easy to use and produces high quality prints at a good speed--very suitable for small business and/or personal use. We especially appreciate having an automatic document feeder. It replaces an earlier WorkCentre model that served us very well for over ten years. Sales and tech staff responded promptly, effectively, and courteously to solve minor installation problems.
I would recommend this to others.

poorly designed, cheap plastic parts. Faxes often jam as the feeder does not function properly. It is also very loud and slow to start.

This is the first ever review I am writing. Sadly, this printer was a big let down for the very start. A few months after purchasing, the printer started to output pages only half printed (vertical faint lines). Original toner was nearing end of life, so we bought a new one. Same issue cropped up. Had unit serviced by authorised supplier, replaced toner cartridge since it includes photoconductor unit as well. First few pages ok, then back to square one. Had also fault in scanner unit; this was kindly replaced by supplier at no cost. The next move, throw out this junk!

Pros: Excellent optics, scan to Network PC is fast and convenient, controls are reasonably simple to figure out.
Cons: Manual feeder only accepts one page at a time and usually feeds crooked. Automatic document feeder does not always feed properly - I sometimes have to shove pages through. The output bin has to be emptied frequently (every 5 pages or so) or the pages curl and block additional pages from coming out. This jams the printer. The printer is a toner hog, even on toner saver. Copying "light" still comes out quite dark.

My previous Xerox MFP was 6 years old and while it had a few quirks, it didn't have as many as this printer which is less than a year old.

Walk up and start, FAX, or COPY, very easy and quick.
We bought another Xerox FAX machine since we used previously
Xerox Work Center 385 for years and years, worked flawlessly and reliably
so we stayed with Xerox for a new machine.
Xerox, in my opinion, makes very reliable and high-quality products..

I had Xerox laser printer/copiers for years on end and really had great luck with them. I could not get a laser printer for a small business for several years and got stuck with a Sharp which was returned after repeated problems.
At last.. I could get a Xerox laser printer again !
This thing has been the bane of my existence. The instruction "menu" area is absolutely the worst thing I have ever seen. I do believe it was designed and programmed by a raving maniac ! I constantly find myself up changing settings and then unchanging them. The system is anything but user friendly !
The capper is that the auto feed tray grabs the paper and crushes it on one side as it is passing through the copier feed. I called about this, we tried a simple fix with tape to clean the rollers... two uses later.. we were right back to square one. This Xerox had issues when it was in warranty and now that it is out of warranty, its an even bigger problem. I am NOT going to pay almost half of the cost of a new one for an extended warranty.. its not worth it.
Note.. when this one dies, it won't be replaced with another Xerox. Sadly, you have burned your bridges with this beast !

The number one function that we needed this unit to perform was faxing our employees timecards to our payroll center. The first unit that was installed started "eating" the pages to be faxed right out of the box. The replacement worked for several weeks before it began to do the same thing. We are currently using a 15 year old fax machine from a competitor until we get the latest replacement. Not what I would expect from the self proclaimed, "Document Company".
No, I would not recommend this to others.

Use this WorkCentre as printing center for our small company. Soon find out that printing costs are high, one toner 2000 pages is 100$.
I would recommend this to others.

I have found the WorkCentre 3210 to get the job done for a office (three employees) It would be nice if the toner cartridges could be sent back for recycling for free.
I would recommend this to others.

I bought about 200 Xerox 3210/3220 for a new project to replace the HP3055's and the Xerox 3210/3220 had the pdf feature I was looking for to scan multiple documents. The setup was a breeze and configuration for our environment was easy.
I would recommend this to others.

Document feeder constantly jams. The tech tells me this model is very sensitive and you have to adjust it exactly right. It still continues to jam. Love Xerox but not this model. We use it seldom as this is so frustrating.
When we do use it, copy quality is good, speed satisfactory. Menu options could be smoother.

Very disappointed in the copy feature. I bought this to use in a small office where I need to copy different size originals, some letter, some legal. You have to tell this machine which paper tray you want the paper to come from before hand. It will not sense what paper size you are copying. Machines made by others (like Brother) at comparable prices automatically chooses the correct paper by what is being copyied. Scanning is very slow as well. My 3220 will be going back.

just purchased this product for a small specialists (doctor) office. it was a replacement for a previous/different workstation. i have had it two days - hooked it up with no problem whatsoever. HUGE problem -- i am NOT able to fax to the hospital that we are associated with because the hospital is analog. i am not able to return the product (as it is technology and cannot be returned once box is opened). at no time was i told that his product would not work with analog. i have had no problems in the past with previous fax/copier/priners before in the past. why the xerox? it is our first time purchasing a xerox machine (used to have an HP and then a Brother). HELP does anyone have any suggestions? i am now stuck with a $300 product that i cannot use..i have to photocopy and bring info to the hospital because i cannot fax...HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Just installed this project and the scanner does not work as well as the fax . How can i resolve this problem.

Without a dedicated phone line, I can not be assured of receiving my fax messages. I agree there is no mention of this analog problem in the manual or in the product description.

This product is an excellent choice for small business use. The speed and quality of printing and scanning is exceptional. Installation and set-up are quick and easy. This unit is quiet which allows for use during teleconferences. The value is exceptional especially compared to similar products. The one improvement that could be made is the auto feed tray. It tends to jam if scanning a document that was just printed. It is because the edges of the paper roll a bit during printing and then jam in the feed tray.
I would recommend this to others.

Fax not receiving when toner is low

Xerox machine toner has gone low... but we are able to print good printouts (looks like there is still some left), however when we are receiving fax we are not able to get the printout, it says low toner.. is there any way where in we can copy the memory fax to USB or something and then take print out... please advice .. Also your toners are not at all avaliable,, they are running out of stock everywhere,, request you to make the toners avaliable or what is the use of the machine.

Once in a blue moon, it may jam. But this printer does everything it says it should do. It is fast, easy to use, and the networking features are great! Not to mention.... easy to install. It blows away Brother, HP, and many other top competitors. The customer support is great and i only had to use them once (says alot). 4.7/5
